Common questions
What do I pay to get started?
Nothing at all. Joining is free, with no monthly subscription. Your shop pays 8% of each completed order (5% covers transactions, 3% is SnappGo's fee) and your customers pay a small 3% service charge. Optional extras: the £29/month Plus bundle and one-off hardware. See the Pricing page for details.
Do I need any hardware or equipment?
No hardware at all. SnappGo works on any tablet or smartphone. Download the SnappGo app, log in with your staff account, and your shop is ready. Most owners use an iPad or Android tablet on their counter.
How quickly can I go live?
Applying takes about 2 minutes. We check every new shop, which usually takes 1 to 2 working days. Once you're approved, add your menu, flip the toggle to "Open" and you'll start appearing to nearby customers straight away.
What happens if I want to close for a day?
Toggle your shop to "Closed" in the app. Customers still see your shop marked as closed, with when you next open. They can order ahead for your opening time unless you switch pre-orders off in Settings. Toggle back to "Open" whenever you're ready. No fees, no penalties.
How do I get paid?
Card payments are collected through the app and paid to your bank every day for the day before. Every day has its own statement in the app showing each order and every deduction, and you can email it to yourself.
Can I customise my menu and pricing?
Completely. You control everything. Menu items, descriptions, prices, photos, available add-ons, and which items are sold out. Update it whenever you like, changes go live instantly.

What a £10 order actually looks like
Your customer pays £10.30, including their 3% service charge (30p). Your shop pays 8% (80p): 50p covers card payments and transaction costs, and 30p is SnappGo's fee. £9.20 lands in your next-day payout.

Pricing questions

What do I pay to get started?
Nothing at all. Joining SnappGo is completely free, with no monthly subscription, and setting up your shop yourself in the app costs nothing. If you'd rather we did it for you, our done-for-you setup is £299 one-off. Your shop pays 8% of each completed order: 5% covers card payments and transaction costs, and 3% is our fee. Your customers add a small 3% service charge at checkout. If you take no orders, you pay nothing.
How do payouts work?
Daily. Every morning we settle the previous day's orders and transfer your share, which is everything your customers paid by card minus the 8% per order and their 3% service charge. Cash orders work the other way round: you keep the cash, and the 8% and the customer's 3% service charge on them come off your next payout. If your cash days add up to more than your card takings, you pay SnappGo the difference the next day. Your dashboard shows your running balance and an itemised statement for every day, covering every order and every deduction.
What is SnappGo Plus?
An optional £29 per month add-on that unlocks the growth toolkit: AI insights and menu description writing, discount codes and promotions, advanced reporting with full history and CSV export, and unlimited staff logins with rotas and team messages. Core ordering never depends on it. Add or cancel it anytime from your dashboard.
Are there any hidden fees?
None. The 8% per order is the only charge to your shop, and it already includes all card processing and transaction costs, so there is never a separate payment fee. There are no fees to join, no fees to update your menu, and no cancellation fees. The optional Plus bundle and hardware are clearly priced and entirely your choice.
What if I want to cancel?
Cancel anytime with no penalty. There's no contract and no notice period. Close your shop profile and that's it. Any pending payout still reaches your bank as normal.

Each order is subject to a 3% service charge added to the order total at checkout and shown before you pay. This charge is paid by you (the customer) to SnappGo to cover platform costs and support, and applies regardless of payment method.

For shops

Shops join free with no monthly subscription. SnappGo charges shops 8% on each completed order, of which 5% covers card payment and transaction costs and 3% is SnappGo's fee. Customers pay a 3% service charge at checkout, shown before payment. Optional paid extras: the SnappGo Plus add-on (£29/month) and one-off hardware purchases. Full terms are set out in the Shop Partner Agreement.
